Hello, I’m Paula, a family photographer based in Southampton, Hampshire. I believe the most beautiful moments are the real, unscripted ones - the laughter, the cuddles, the tiny hands holding yours. My approach is all about capturing genuine connections and emotions, so you can relive these precious memories for years to come.

Family life is made up of little moments - the giggles, the cuddles, the playful chaos. That you’ll want to remember forever. That’s why I focus on natural and relaxed photography, allowing you to enjoy time with your loved ones while I capture the warmth and connection between you. Some of my favourite places for maternity and newborn sessions:
· At Your Home – The place where your family feels most comfortable and where so many precious memories are made. Whether it’s snuggling on the sofa, at-home sessions bring a cosy, personal touch that makes the photos even more special.
· In the Forest – A peaceful escape where little ones can run freely, explore hidden paths, and collect leaves. The soft, dappled light filtering through the trees creates a warm and dreamy atmosphere, perfect for storytelling images full of movement and joy.
· On the Beach – Barefoot adventures, sandy toes, and golden light. Whether it's splashing in the waves, chasing the tide, or simply enjoying the fresh sea air, beach sessions capture the carefree essence of childhood and family life. The best time? The golden hour, just before sunset, when the light is soft and magical.
· In a Field – Imagine a summer evening surrounded by wildflowers, sunflowers or tall grass, with your little ones picking blooms and running through the fields.
The Booking Process

Securing Your Date
Once you’ve chosen your package, we’ll find the perfect date for your session. To officially book your session, a £50 deposit and a signed contract are required. This ensures your date is secured just for you. The remaining balance will be due on the day of the session.

Planning with my Questionnaires
I’ll help you choose a location that suits your family best - whether it’s a cosy at-home session, a beautiful forest or a golden-hour beach adventure. I’ll also send you a questionnaire to get to know your family better. This helps me tailor the session to you, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
You’ll also receive a guide with outfit tips and everything you need to feel prepared.

Before & On your Session Day
A few days before your session, I’ll send you a reminder with the time and location details, so everything is clear and
stress-free.
On the day, just relax, have fun and enjoy time with your loved ones while I capture the little moments that make your family unique. There’s no need to worry about posing. I’ll guide you naturally for beautiful, effortless images.

Sneak Peek & Full Gallery
Within a few days, you’ll receive sneak peeks (previews) of your session. These will give you a first look at the beautiful moments we've captured!
And up to four weeks, you’ll receive a carefully curated online gallery with all your images (50-150). You’ll have four weeks to choose your 15 favourite photos, which you can download, or you can purchase the full gallery for just £150.

FAQ - frequently asked questions
How do we book you, and how far in advance should we do it?
To secure your date, a signed contract and a £50 deposit are required, with the remaining balance due on the day of your family session. I recommend booking as early as possible, especially for summer, as my availability is limited due to weddings.
When is the best time for our family session? And an we choose the location for ou session?
I recommend late morning (10am or 11am) or just before/drutng sunset for the best lighting, depending on the location.
And yes! I’m happy to help with location suggestions based on your style and preferences.
Do you take posed family photos?
I focus more on candid and natural moments that truly reflect your family’s connection. Instead of stiff, formal posing, I gently guide you into natural interactions - playing, laughing, walking together, so your photos feel genuine and full of emotion.
Do you edit all the photos?
Before I start editing your family photos, I select the best ones that truly capture the moment, ensuring there are no duplicates, closed eyes, or blurry images. Then, I edit each image in my warm, natural style. From a typical session, you can expect to receive between 50 and 150 carefully edited photos.
When will we receive our photos?
You’ll receive a sneak peek within 5 days after your family session and the full gallery will be ready within 4 weeks (or sooner, depending on the season).
Can we share our photos online?
Yes! You can share your wedding photos on social media, and I’d be grateful if you tag me! Feel free to download and share with family and friends as well.
