When is the best time to book your maternity and newborn photo session?
Don’t miss the chance to document this very special time. For maternity sessions, it’s best to choose a moment when your baby bump is beautifully visible, while you’re still feeling comfortable and have some time before your due date. The ideal time is between 28-34 weeks of pregnancy.
When should you book a newborn photo session?
The best time for a newborn session is between the fifth and fourteenth day after your baby is born. During this period, your baby tends to sleep more and is often calmer in your arms, making it easier to capture those precious moments. However, if your baby is older than 14 days, don’t worry! Beautiful photos can still be taken at any age. If you weren’t able to book a session earlier, it’s never too late to create lasting memories.

FAQ - FAMILY, Maternity & newborn baby photoshoot session
Do I have to choose an image package before I book?
You don't need to choose any package when you book your session. When you receive your online gallery you choose your images and your preferred collection as well. I always enter the "Sunflower" package by default, if you are not sure about your decision, but you can change it!
How should we dress for our family session?
Ideally wear what you like and, most importantly, what you feel comfortable in. Avoid patterns and logos to keep the images timeless. More information will be in my little guide that I send before the session on "how to prepare for the session" with clothing inspirations that will help you.
How do I view the photos after the session?
From one to four weeks after the shoot your edited images will be available for viewing in your private online gallery.
What’s the best time to have a session on the beach?
It's always two hours before sunset! If it's a cloudy day, we can arrange a photo session earlier.
How quickly do we have to choose what to purchase?
After viewing the images your online gallery will be open for 21 days, giving you plenty of time to decide which products you'd like to purchase.
What happens if my child is ill?
I'm working with children and I completely understand that they may be unwell - it's no problem at all to reschedule.
What if it rain?
I'll get in touch a couple of days before the shoot (after consulting the weather forecast) and if it looks like rain we can either reschedule (if you're keen to have some photos outside) or go ahead.
