Hello, I’m Paula, a wedding photographer based in Southampton, Hampshire. I believe the most meaningful wedding photographs are the honest ones. The moments that unfold naturally. The quiet nerves before the ceremony, the laughter during speeches, the fleeting looks and gentle gestures that often go unnoticed. These are the moments that become memories. My approach is documentary and relaxed. I work with natural light and gentle guidance only when needed, allowing your day to flow as it truly feels. No forced posing, no forced smiles - just real people, real emotions and real connections.
Whether you’re planning an intimate celebration or a full-day wedding, I focus on telling your story in a calm, timeless way. With a minimalist eye and a gentle, warm editing style, your photographs will feel natural, emotional and timeless. I quietly observe, anticipate, and capture the moments in between, documenting your day honestly, so you can relive it for years to come.
The Details Matter
Wedding days are made of moments, but also of details chosen with care. I always take time during the day to photograph the smaller elements of your wedding story: your rings, bouquet, and thoughtful touches you’ve spent months planning. Often, this happens quietly during the wedding breakfast, when the day naturally slows and everything is just as it should be.
These details complete the story. They ground your memories in time, the flowers you carried, the rings you exchanged, the atmosphere you created. Photographed with the same calm, documentary approach, they blend seamlessly into your gallery and help tell the full story of your day.

The Wedding Booking Process

Inquiry and Initial Consultation
Reach out to me whether your date is set or you’re still planning - we’re already here! I’ll send you my Wedding Brochure with package details, past wedding galleries, and all you need to get a feel for my style.
02.
Booking Confirmation
Once you decide to book, I’ll send the Wedding Contract and Invoice to secure your date + two questionnaires. The contract covers our agreement and photo publication preferences, while the invoice includes a deposit and the final payment due two weeks before your wedding.
03.
Your Engagement Session
If included, we’ll schedule your engagement session a few months before your wedding. It’s a relaxed way to get comfortable in front of the camera and capture some beautiful memories. Prefer not to have a session? You can exchange it for a keepsake USB of images instead.
04.
Planning with my Questionnaires
A few months before your wedding, I’ll re-send two key documents to help plan your day:
· Wedding Photography Checklist: Highlight your must-have moments, portraits and candid photos.
· Wedding Questionnaire: Confirm the timeline, locations, and key moments.

Final Payment & Details Confirmation
About four weeks before your wedding, I’ll send a friendly reminder with the final payment details and check in on any last-minute plans. The final payment is due two weeks before your big day, giving us plenty of time to ensure everything is perfectly prepared.

The Wedding Day
Once you decide to book, I’ll send the Wedding Contract and Invoice to secure your date + two questionnaires. The contract covers our agreement and photo publication preferences, while the invoice includes a deposit and the final payment due two weeks before your wedding.

Online Gallery Delivery
You’ll receive sneak previews within 1–3 days. The full gallery will be ready within 2–4 months, depending on the season. The longest delivery time in 2025 was around two months. You’ll be able to view and download your images via your private online gallery. Prints and albums are also available if you wish.
08.
Long-Lasting Memories
Your images will preserve your wedding day forever. Galleries are available for one year, but I keep them longer - just ask if you’d like access later. I also recommend saving your photos safely and I’m always available to help with any additional photo requests or questions you may have after your wedding.

All wedding galleries, along with the engagement session galleries, are protected with a password and download PIN. This ensures secure access, and couples have the option to download their photos in high-resolution for printing or in smaller sizes that are perfect for sharing on social media.

Additional time
Need more coverage? No problem! You can always add extra hours to your wedding package, even later if you're unsure right now. However, the sooner, the better! I’m happy to stay until at least 10pm, so whether it’s your first dance, late-night celebrations or those unforgettable dance floor moments. /£150 per hour

FAQ - frequently asked questions
Do you travel for weddings?
Travel within Hampshire and Dorset is included in all my packages (or within 35 miles of SO16 5HF). For weddings outside these areas, additional travel fees may apply at a rate of £0.55 per mile.
Can we meet before booking?
Absolutely! We can meet in person or arrange a video call to discuss your wedding plans and answer any questions. It’s important to me to see you before you book your wedding date, as I want to ensure we’re the right fit and that you feel comfortable with me as your photographer.
How many photos will we receive?
For full-day coverage, I usually deliver around 900-1100 images. The number listed in each package is a minimum. I don’t limit your gallery, as I believe every moment matters.
Do you take formal family photos?
Yes, of course! After the ceremony, we’ll always set aside a little time for relaxed family photos. I recommend preparing a short list of must-have groupings so we can keep this part smooth and enjoyable. My approach is naturally candid, so I keep formal photos simple and efficient. This allows us to focus more on those real, meaningful moments throughout your day. 🧡
Can we share our wedding photos online?
YES YES YES! You can share your wedding photos on social media, and I’d be grateful if you tag me! Feel free to download and share with family and friends as well. 🧡
Do you edit all the photos?
Yes, every image you receive is carefully selected and fully edited in my warm, natural style. Before editing, I go through your gallery and choose the very best moments, removing duplicates, closed eyes, or anything that doesn’t reflect the story of your day. Each final image is then individually edited to ensure a consistent and beautiful finish.
